Artvin House is a private weekend villa nestled in the remote natural landscape of Artvin, Turkey. Designed as a retreat for three generations of a large family, the project was realized in collaboration with DEX Architecture Office, who led the architectural design, while Studio Noga focused on the interior architecture.
Situated on a hillside, the three-story villa features a mezzanine and dramatic sloped ceilings that add a sculptural dimension to the interior space. At the heart of the home lies a spacious living room seamlessly connected to the entrance and dining area, creating an open and social core. The layout includes four bedrooms, each with its own dedicated bathroom, offering comfort and privacy for all family members. Terraces provide unique views of the mountains and woods, from various points around the house.
The interior design embraces a rustic yet refined aesthetic, reflecting the client's desire for a warm, clean, and bright atmosphere. Terrazzo flooring and oak wood form the foundation of the material palette, complemented by handpicked natural stones and raw-textured fabrics that enhance the home's connection to its surroundings.
